Family Photos: The Greenfield’s

Moving to a new place can be intimidating. One of our greatest prayers in moving to Los Angeles was for like-minded friends. Prayer answered: the Greenfield’s. Now, if truth be told, Jade and I were rather forced into getting to know one another by our wives, whose friendship blew up over night. As our wives and kids spent more and more time together, our daughters became like best friends. Even though we had been sitting in the same classes every week, Jade and I started saying to one another, “Well, I suppose we ought to start hangin out dude.” So, thankfully, we’ve had the chance to do just that, and the recent opportunity to do family photos for the Greenfields was an exciting one. We met one afternoon in Griffith Park, and had more fun than anything else. We also shots some photos in the process, and below are a few of my favorites, starting off with Jade and Trish.

And then of course, here is the fam.

I’m pretty sure that Halle taught my daughter Sophia this move, as it has been showing up around our house when I get out the camera. Though, it may have been the other way around.

Now, as any of us dad’s with daughters know, there just isn’t anything sweeter that little girls who love their daddies.
Below are some great moments we captured in the park of some special daddy and daughter time.

And what little man doesn’t love getting chucked as high as humanly possible into midair by his dad?
After all, this is why God made daddies so strong, for launching children.

And last is my favorite shot of the day, the textured family shot. Jade and Trish had mentioned in a previous conversation how they loved the textured look that I often throw into the mix on family photos, so I made sure to include the look into several of the images I delivered to them, but I especially love the way this one turned out.
