I am a photographer. I am a designer. As such, I create. It’s what I do.
But I must admit, I’m a copycat. In all honesty, I am simply trying to be just like someone I know. He’s a better artist than I will ever be. All my ideas and all my creations are all inspired by Him. All of my best attempts to create wonderful things pale in comparison to what He creates. Oh yeah – and He gets all the credit for my work too.
His name is Jesus. He is God. He made everything. All things that exist are His artwork – and I am in awe of Him.
Every glorious sunset. Every magnificent mountain grandeur. Everything that amazes us with it’s beauty is His creative work in the world, and is designed to point us back to the Great Artist. As I make images, I recognize that I am made in His image, and I live to be like Him. He has put in me a passion to create and to be creative, and His precious fingerprints are on all that I do. I am a copycat.
