Most professional photographers exercise what is called “Maintaining Copyright.†You pay them for the photo shoot, and then they own all the images. This means that the photos they take of you actually belong to them – not you. Why? Then they charge you “per print†for each photo you want. So they charge you to do a photo shoot – from which you get (almost) nothing. Then you choose a few poses you like, and they charge you (an arm and a leg) to have a few 8×10’s and some wallets printed. That’s all you get. In a few weeks when Aunt Suzy notices that great photo and wants a copy, you have to go back to the photographer again and buy another package of prints.
We think that’s ridiculous. So we do photography the way you’ve always felt it should be done. We’re committed to exceeding your expectations. After we’ve done your photo shoot, we’ll put in the time to do all the professional post-processing and deliver you high-resolution files on a disc – no extra charges. You get the copyright privileges. Take that all you bogus photographers! Then our customers can go print thousands (no- millions!) of them using whoever they want at whatever prices they choose. Email them to friends and family, burn copies of the disc for others – whatever you want! …and you don’t even have to ask our permission (how friendly). The photos belong to you. Isn’t that how it should be? We’re also glad to assist you with any other photo services you may desire, like large prints, albums, cards, photo books, and canvas wraps. But at least this way – we put all the decisions in your hands. It’s all about answering the question, “How can we serve you best?” That’s how we roll.
