WHO WE ARE:

Hi! We're Tim & Katie Drumm.

We're a family, so we recognize the value of photos--a picture really is worth more than a thousand words. We love this photo of us because we took it on the way to Katie's little brother's high school graduation! It reminds us of that day and the excitement surrounding it.

Photos are powerful! They are memories that bring you back to the moment they were taken and remind you of more than just what you saw--they remind you of what you heard, felt, and experienced.

Take for example that photo you have of a loved one that still calls to mind that special day every time you see it. You can smell the air and still see the clouds and trees. You can still hear what they were saying to you. That's powerful. We harness that power for good – using the thrill of photography to make people smile.

Drumm Studios exists to allow us to experience the fulfilling joy of photography while blessing people with the delight of having captivating photographs.

Christmas Mini-Sessions

During the Christmas season of 2011 we were blessed to be a part of four different families’ Christmas cards! I thought I’d share them with you here.

First, though, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you all for being a part of Drumm Studios. We’re so blessed by our sweet clients. Thank you!

Our sweet friends had their baby boy, Samuel, just a couple of weeks before Christmas, so for their Christmas card we took some photos & designed it as a Christmas card/birth announcement:

We love weddings! It’s just an awesome blessing to be a part of two people coming together for the glory of the Lord! A few weeks ago we were blessed to be a part of Jason and Becky joining their families together as one. They had an intimate, beautiful ceremony with just their closest family. What a sweet time!

Thank you both so much for including us in your special day. What a blessing!

Family Portraits: Chris, Barbara & their Kids

A while back we headed out to one of our favorite new spots and took some family photos for our awesome brother and his sweet, sweet family. What a blessing to take photos of people we love! We had a lot of fun following the kids around and taking pictures of them just hanging out. What a great group of kids!

Ok, wait. Lest you begin to think this is a boring, unimaginative family, let me dispel that thinking right here:

Child Portraits: Ruth Anne is Three!

Can you believe it!? Ruth Anne is three years old! I think we’ve photographed sweet Ruth Anne more than we’ve photographed anyone else. (See her photo shoots and designs here, here, here, here, & here)! And so, because we’ve literally watched her grow up in front of our lens, it was such a joy to capture these newest shots a couple of weeks ago in celebration of her turning three!

Family Portraits: The West Kids

We love spending time with families who love each other, and although at times they may deny it, we can tell that the West kids really love each other. We had so much fun spending time with them earlier this week and taking their photos.

Eight Reasons We Love the West Kids:

1. Their Individuality

Each of these kids is so different. I love how their individual personalities are apparent in the photos we took.

2. Their Love for One Another

It was neat to see these four interact. They really found joy in one another’s company!

3. Their Silliness

These kids crack us up! They are just really really silly!

4. Their Seriousness

Even though they’re silly, you can tell these kids know how to be serious when the time calls for it . . . like when a super model pose is in order

We loved getting to know these siblings better, and like I said, they each have such different personalities.

5. Jackson’s Integrity

The eldest, Jackson, is growing into such a great young man. You can tell he understands what it means to be a man.

6. Alex’s Joy

Alex reminds everyone he meets how fun life can be! He really has such a sweet joy about him.

7. Kate’s Gentleness

Kate has such a sweet, kind, and gentle soul. She’s a beautiful young woman–inside and out.

8. Gavin’s peace

Sweet Gavin has this peace about him that impressed us so much. I mean, he’s still a fun little boy, but there’s just something about him that is . . . peaceful . . .
