It’s just the truth.

They began dating as seniors in high school in 1975 and have been together ever since.  That’s almost 38 years of loving the same person. You might think they’d be bored with each other after all that time, but they’re not.  They still crack each other up and they’re into things like gardening and watching sports and Downton Abbey together.  What a great legacy for us kids!

It was so much fun to do my first-ever-all-by-myself-on-my-own photo shoot with my own parents!  They were awesome and I’m sure after seeing their photos you’ll agree that they’re the cutest couple on the planet. <3

You may remember our sweet friends, the Presleys, from almost exactly three years ago when we took their “pre-kid” family photos! Since then Eric and Sky been blessed with two sweet boys, Ethan and James.  It was a joy for us to capture their beautiful family a few months ago.  We were impressed with the boys’ ability to stay happy throughout the entire shoot.  Never mind that it was in the dead-heat of summer in humid south Texas!  They did great! Also, I should tell you: Ethan’s pretty serious about super heros.  Batman in particular.  You’ll see what I mean.

Jordan and Krystal are the kind of people that you just can’t get enough of.  They’re funny, and enthusiastic, and silly, and they have smiles that when you see them, you just can’t help but smile yourself!  What a perfect match–we were so pleased to take the photos of their wedding.

There’s 16 of them and so there were a lot of photos to shoot to capture every possible combination and permutation of people.

Also, it was about a thousand degrees outside, but they still had so much fun just being together–laughing and joking and being silly.

Needless to say (again), we had a lot of fun with this family!  Oh, and did I mention their amazingly beautiful clothing!?  Ahh! They were just so beautiful!

In addition to feeling like we’ve known the bride (and several members of the wedding party) forever, Jerod & Erin (and their families) were just so laid back and had such a great time the whole day that we couldn’t help but have a great time ourselves!

We had such a great spring just spending time with each other and having fun.  We hope you had a good spring, too.

We’re looking forward to the summer and all of the activities and vacations we have planned, as well as the photo shoots we’ve got booked!  If you haven’t booked us yet, it’s not too late!
